Olive & Beans' First Ever Walk & Talk – A Sunny Success at Mote Park

Today (May 31st) marked a new milestone for Olive & Beans as we hosted our very first Walk & Talk event in the beautiful surroundings of Mote Park—and what an incredible day it was! With the sun shining and dogs wagging their tails, this was more than just a walk—it was a celebration of community, connection, and pure canine joy.
A Warm Welcome and Even Warmer Weather
The event kicked off with friendly introductions and smiles all around. We were thrilled to welcome a lovely group of attendees—some familiar faces (thank you to my sisters and besties <3), and some new—each bringing their unique energy and, in many cases, their furry friends! With not a cloud in sight, it was the perfect day for a stroll through the park.
Furry Friends, Fresh Air, and Great Conversation
Dogs were undoubtedly the stars of the day. From excitable dogs (AKA Beans) to more mature pooches, they all enjoyed exploring the woodlands, cooling off in the lake, and of course, getting lots of fuss from everyone.
But it wasn’t just about the dogs—the conversations flowed among the humans too. Whether chatting about pet antics, weekend plans, or mental health, the space was relaxed and supportive, offering a real sense of connection.
Moments That Melted Hearts
There were so many beautiful moments—like when one of the dogs in a blue cooling vest trotted over to greet everyone with the biggest grin, or when another jumped up gently to hug a new friend. These little interactions made the walk feel like more than just a gathering—it felt like a growing community.

We couldn’t be more grateful for everyone who showed up, especially in such great spirits. The success of this first Walk & Talk has already sparked excitement for more.
