MEET OLIVE&BEANS
Every great story starts with love.
Mine began with two little dogs named Olive & Beans.
They came into my life at a time when I needed them most, and without ever saying a word, they taught me some of life's greatest lessons: that healing isn't always loud, courage can look like simply getting through another day, and sometimes the smallest paws leave the biggest footprints on our hearts; Olive & Beans was created from that unconditional love.
During some of the hardest chapters of my life, including long hospital stays from the age of 17 and living with my own long-term mental health challenges, and neurodiversity, my dogs - at one point - became my only reason to keep going. They reminded me that even on the darkest days, there could still be comfort, joy and hope.
That's why Olive & Beans has never been just about harnesses, collars or leads. It's about the walks that clear your mind. The cuddles after a difficult day. The wagging tail waiting for you at the door. And most importantly, the quiet reminder that you're never truly alone.
As life changed, so did our journey. I took time away from the business to focus on my own healing and being admitted to a mental health rehabilitation facility two hours from my home.. During that time I experienced unimaginable loss, including losing my dear friend Beth, whose kindness and light inspired one of our most meaningful collections, Beth's Meadow. Created in her memory, it stands as a reminder that even after heartbreak, beautiful things can still bloom. It's our way of honouring her while continuing to raise awareness and support for mental health.
Now, Olive & Beans returns with a new purpose.
We've grown into more than a pet brand—we're a community built on kindness, compassion and connection. Every collection is designed to tell a story, celebrate the bond between dogs and their humans, and remind people to treasure the little moments that matter most - because sometimes, and trust me I know, all you need is a doggy cuddle.
From cosy adventures to muddy walks, lazy Sunday mornings to exciting new memories, we hope our products become part of your own story too.
